Norfolk - Mrs. Audrey D. Newsome, 18, of 813 Landing Street died Sunday in a
hospital after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of Milton and Mrs. Estella Green and
wife of Earl Newsome Jr.

She was a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, Bute Street.

Besides her parents and husband, surviving are a daughter, Miss Carlena Newsome,
three brothers, Theodore Green, Edward Green and Milton Green Jr., all of
Norfolk; four sisters, Mrs. Vivian Shepard and Mrs. Margaret Godsey of Norfolk,
Mrs. Melvina Jackson of Alaska, and Mrs. Constance Hawkins of Georgia.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in First Baptist Church by the
Rev. E. P. Simms. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral
Home in charge.
