Virginian-Pilot March 22, 1958
NORFOLK — Mary Ann Newsome, infant daughter of John W. and Mrs. Catherine Ellen 
Newsome, of 3415 Vimy Ridge Ave., died Thursday at a Norfolk hospital.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, one brother and her maternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Hipie, of Norfolk.
The body was taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to St. Mary’s Cemetery 
for services at the grave, Saturday at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Henry Wade 
of Christ the King Catholic Church.
