Newton, a well known citizen of South Norfolk, died this morning at his home, 54 Liberty Street, after a brief illness. The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. Charles Straughn, pastor of the Twelfth Street Mission. The interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. ************************************************************************* C.H. Newton of South Norfolk died yesterday morning at his home, 54 Liberty Street, after a brief illness. The funeral will be conducted at the above residence by Rev.
