Norfolk Ledger Dispatch March 20, 1915

C.H. Newton, a well known citizen of South Norfolk, died this morning at his 
home, 54 Liberty Street, after a brief illness.
The funeral will take place from the residence tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock 
and will be conducted by Rev. Charles Straughn, pastor of the Twelfth Street 
Mission. The interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

C.H. Newton of South Norfolk died yesterday morning at his home, 54 Liberty 
Street, after a brief illness. The funeral will be conducted at the above 
residence by Rev. Charles Straughn this morning at 10:30 o'clock. The interment 
will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of C.H. Newton was conducted at his home, 54 Liberty Street, South 
Norfolk, by Rev. Charles Straughn, pastor of the Twelfth Street Mission, 
yesterday afternoon. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery. The pallbearers were from 
the Twelfth Street Mission.
