Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 7, 1918

Harry Lee Nicholas, age 34 years, died at the family residence, 12 Rogers 
street, South Norfolk, after a lingering illness of several years duration, 
yesterday morning at 9:15 o'clock.  Mr. Nicholas was engaged in the real 
estate and rental business in South Norfolk, where he was well known.
He was a son of Mrs. Amanda Roach Nicholas and the late L.M. Nicholas.  In 
addition to his mother he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel Wrenn 
Nicholas, a son, Harry Nicholas, Jr., two sisters, Mrs. B.F. Lassiter and 
Mrs. Charles Eason and a brother, Grady Nicholas.
The funeral services will be conducted at the above residence Tuesday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia 
Cemetery.
