Norfolk - Edward J. Nichols passed away April 10, 2016, in Maryland. Born January 
20, 1950, Edward was the son of the late Horace F. Nichols Sr. and Olethia C. 
Nichols. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace F. 
Nichols Jr. and Anthony Nichols. Left to cherish his precious memories are five 
sisters, Roberta Nichols-Covin (Jimmy), Rita Parker (Michael), Patricia Nichols 
(Darnell), Letitia Nichols and Myron Young (Earl); four brothers, Christopher 
Nichols, Byron Nichols, Khalid Mustafa El Amin (Kenneth) and Darryl Nichols 
(Gina); uncle, James Nichols; aunts, Leola Etheridge and Josephine Cheeks, and a 
host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held, 10-
12pm, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 7246 Granby St., 
Norfolk, VA 23505. Condolences may be offered to the family at
