Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 17, 1913

Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols, wife of W.H. Nichols, died at her home, 909 Bute Street 
extended, Tuesday night, aged 70 years.  Besides her husband she is survived by 
three sons, Frank P. Simpson and Charles Simpson, both of Norfolk and W.W. 
Simpson, of Alexandria, Va.  The deceased was a native of North Carolina, but had 
been a resident of Norfolk 28 years.  The funeral will be held at the residence at 
3 o'clock this afternoon and will be conducted by Rev. Dr. J.A. Thomas of the 
Cumberland Street Methodist Church.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
