Norfolk - Mrs. Sarah Nicholson of 1368 Bolton street was given final rites 
Tuesday in Union Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. Joseph Copeland 
officiating.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in 
charge of arrangements.

A native of Norfolk, Mrs. Nicholson died Thursday in a New York hospital.  She 
was a daughter of the late Robert Myrick and Mrs. Violetta Myrick and widow of 
John Nicholson.  She was a licensed beautician and worked at Beatrice’s Beauty 
Salon for many ears.  She was a member of St. Mark’s Community Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Janice N. Davis of New York;  and an adopted 
son, Wilbur Butts and a sister, Mrs. Violetta Myrick, both of Norfolk.
