In loving memory of our dear beloved mother, Mrs. Sarah Nicholson, who departed 
this life one year ago today, October the 9th, 1927.

Day by day we watched her,
Fade and slowly sink away,
Though in our hearts we prayed
That she might longer stay.

There was an angel band in heaven,
That was not quite complete,
And God took our darling mother,
To fill the vacant seat.

--Her devoted children
