Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, December 20, 1990 
Patrick Lee Nickens, 36, of the 200 block of Bayview Blvd., a welder, died 
Dec. 16, 1990. 
Mr. Nickens, a native of Bethesda, Md., was employed with Amark Co. He was a 
member of Seafarers Internatioanl Union of North America. 
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Floyd Nickens; a stepdaughter, Wendy 
Callahan of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a son, William L. Nickens and two stepsons, 
Jay Floyd and Steven Floyd, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Wendy Mather of 
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Susan Vann and Barbara Harper, both of 
Nashville, Tenn.; and three brothers, Bradley Nickens of Marietta, Ga., 
Michael Nickens of Linden, N.J., and William Nickens of White House, Tenn. 
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. O. Murry Unruh. Friends may join the family from 7 to 9 
p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel.
