Virginian-Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark December 27, 1918

The funeral of John Niegro Salvatore, who died at the residence, 610 Landing 
Street, yesterday morning, will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church 
tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the morning. Rev. P.P. Brennan will conduct the 
services. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Salvatore, who was 24 
years of age, is survived by his parents, five sisters, Mrs. S.A. Russo, of 
Portsmouth, Va., Misses Teressa, Josephine, Camilla and Rose Niegro Salvatore 
and two brothers, Michael and Frank Salvatore.

SALVATORE, JOHN NIEGRO — At the residence, 610 Landing street, Thursday, 
December 26, 1918, at 7:30 o’clock a.m., JOHN N1EGRO SALVATORE, in the 24th year 
of his age.
Funeral services at St. Mary’s Catholic church, SATURDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend.
