Robt. M. Nimmo Col. Robt M. Nimmo died in this city yesterday in the sixty-third year of his age. The announcement will be received with deep sorrow by a large circle of friends and acquaintances in Norfolk and indeed throughout the state. Col. Nimmo has resided in Norfolk for over seven years and has during that time gained many warm friends here. He was formerly a resident of Richmond and was for many years a prominent merchant of that city. He was popular there, his many fine qualities being appreciated by the people, and his death will no doubt be deeply regretted by his former acquaintances. Before the war Col. Nimmo was commander of the Fayette Artillery. He leaves two daughters to mourn his loss.
