The Virginian Pilot December 1, 1966
VIRGINIA BEACH -  Mrs. Ella Brock Nimmo, 97, of 121 Louisa Ave., the daughter 
of Reuben Lovitt and Mrs. Elizabeth Brock Whitehurst, died in a hospital 
Wednesday at 8:20 p.m.
A lifelong resident of Princess Anne County, she was a retired schoolteacher.  
She was the oldest and life member of Nimmo Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James B. Spratley of Richmond, Mrs. 
Thomas F. Hanney and Mrs. Russell S. Atwood, of Virginia Beach.
The body will be taken from H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, to 
Nimmo Methodist Church, for a funeral service Friday at 2 p.m., by the Rev. 
Emory S. Elmore.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family will be at the home.
