Dorothy Agnes Niswonger, age 86, of Gloucester, died on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 
her home. Dorothy was a US Navy Veteran, retiring from the medical field. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Niswonger, and survived by her daughter, 
Sharon Clayton, son, Shawn Niswonger, granddaughter, Star Norman, grandson J.D. 
Griffin, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. The family will receive 
friends on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Hogg 
Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, masks are required for entry and social distancing 
is mandatory. Graveside service will be private. In memory of our loved one, 
memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society c/o Nancy 
Drainsfield, 7274 Joseph Lewis Road, Hayes, VA 23072. Services under the direction 
of Hogg Funeral Home.
