Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan 22,1955
Joshua Nixon, of 902 Bank street, died recently in a local hospital.

He was a member of the Norfolk Social and Benefit club and the local Buffalo 
Lodge.

Last rites were held at King’s funeral chapel with the Rev. F. B. Wise 
officiating.  King’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Mr. Nixon 
is survived by a sister, Mrs. Louise Hayward of Philadelphia, and a cousin, 
Mrs. Clara Clark.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
