The funeral of Mrs. Laura Anne Huggins Nixon was held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church 
of which she was a member, Friday, March 8, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Eulogies were read by Rev. J. N. Fuller and remarks were made by Rev. Paul L. 
Moore, Rev. Chas. Cypress and Rev. Jas. Billups, the latter being her former 
pastor. Miss Lucretia Barge and Mrs. Hattie Joe rendered very touching solos.

The funeral was preached the pastor, Rev. Harvey M. Johnson. Flora designs were 
many and beautiful. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
