Virginian-Pilot (Norfolk, Virginia) Sunday, August 11, 1912  
Charlotte E. Noble, widow of John Noble, was held at her late residence, 109 
Reilly Street at 10:30 a.m. yesterday, and was largely attended. There were 
many beautiful floral tributes. The service was conducted by Rev. Carter 
Ashton Jenkens of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church. The interment was in 
Elmwood Cemetery. 
The following were the pall-bearers: L Fentress, Leo V. Herrick, C. Lee, J. W. 
Jenkins, W. O’Brien and O. T. Parker.
