Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jan 9,1960
Harry Noel, 27, of 1216 Maltby avenue, died in a Norfolk hospital Dec. 31.  A 
native of Norfolk, he was a roofer by trade and a member of Union Chapel AME 
Church.

Services were conducted at Union Chapel Church Sunday, Jan. 3, by the Rev. D. S. 
Strong.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with Corprew Funeral Home in 
Campostella in charge.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Serena Wimbush Noel;  three sisters, Lt. Vernice 
Elam, ANC, US Army Hospital, Fort Eustis;  Mrs. Barbara Gay and Mrs. Serena 
Thomas, both of Norfolk, and one brother, Melvin Noel of Norfolk.
