He was a son of the late Jeremiah and Mrs. Anna Kramer Nolan. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. An employee of Ferrell Linoleum & Tile Co., he was a member of Bricklayers, Masons & Plasterers Association. Besides his widow, surviving are two sons, Joseph N. Nolan of Los Angeles and James J. Nolan, USA; two daughters, Miss Catherine Nolan of New York City and Mrs. Eileen DeVito of Patchogue, N.Y.; two brothers, Sylvester Nolan and Harry Nolan, and a sister, Miss Agnes Nolan, all of Brooklyn; and four grandchildren. The body will be taken from Derry-Twiford Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral service Wednesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
