VIRGINIA BEACH - Walter Noona Sr., 94, died Sept. 8, 2002 at Our Lady of Perpetual 
Help.

Born in Norfolk on March 14, 1908, to the late Leo Abraham and Mary Lutfy Noona, 
he was the widower of Anne B. Noona.

Mr. Noona was a restaurateur and had been retired for 39 years. He was the owner 
and operator of Noona's Cafe, across from the Ford Manufacturing Plant in Norfolk.

Survivors include his son, Walter Noona Jr., and his wife, Carol, of Virginia 
Beach; his daughter, Pat Noona Gorski, and her husband, Raymond, of Springfield, 
Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret 
Larrimore of Ocala, Fla., and Elizabeth Ferrari of Virginia Beach.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory 
the Great Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in 
Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road, is handling arrangements.
