NORFOLK - Mrs. Anne Bashara Noona, 69, of 2324 Eustis Ave., the wife of Walter 
Leo Noona and a lifelong resident of Norfolk, died Thursday in a hospital.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia N. Gorski of New Orleans; a 
son, Walter Noona Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Diaz of Virginia 
Beach and Mrs. Virginia Flora of Norfolk; four brothers, Joseph Bashara of 
Philadelphia, Thomas Bashara and Charles Bashara of Norfolk, and Fred Bashara of 
Newport News; and five grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will bs celebrated today at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Catholic 
Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments has 
charge.
