Mr. Noonan was a native of Ireland and had no immediate relatives in this country. For a number of years Mr. Noonan had lived at the Navy Y.M.C.A. He was formerly a sea-faring man and had been in this country about thirty years. Several years ago, he inherited considerable property in Norfolk from an uncle, the late Peter Burns. At the bank yesterday afternoon, Mr. Noonan chatted a few minutes with the clerk in charge of the keys to the deposit vault. He expressed a desire to visit his safety deposit box and was in the act of signing for the key when he fell to the floor. Dr. C. W. Doughtie was the first physician to reach his side. Death had been instantaneous, and Dr. Doughtie pronounced it due to heart trouble. Dr. J. J. Miller, city coroner, verified this verdict, and the body was turned over to H. D. Oliver, undertaker, to be prepared for burial. Maurice Noonan - The funeral of Mr. Noonan will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning, the body being taken there from the H. D. Oliver funeral apartments, 610 East Freemason street. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
