VIRGINIA BEACH — Mary V. Norge, 88, of 3604 Virginius Drive, died Tuesday in a 
hospital.
She was a native of Hungary and the widow of Emery Norge. She was a member of 
St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Viola Giddings of Shreveport, La., and Irene 
Decker of Norfolk; three sons, Emery Norge Jr., Edward M. Norge and Joseph 
Norge, all of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Gregory 
the Great Catholic Church by the Rev. Chad Ficorilli. Burial will be in St. 
Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 9 
p.m. today and at 6147 Newark Ave., Norfolk.
