A native of Berkley, she was the daughter of the late Noah H. and Mrs. Charlotte Hyslop Palmer and had lived in Portsmouth most of her life. She was a clerk at the Naval Shipyard and a member of Park View Baptist Church. She was the widow of Millard C. Norman. Surviving are a son, Millard Carroll Norman of Portsmouth; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Kincanon of Pearisburg, Mrs. Paul B. Ives of Virginia Beach, and Mrs. Paul J. Menzer of Marion, Ohio; and a brother, N.H. Palmer of Norfolk. The body was taken to Snellings Funeral Home where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
