Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, February 26, 1997 
Derrick Dion ``D'' Norman, 38, of the 5800 block of E. Hastings Arch, died Feb.
23, 1997.

A native of Norfolk, he is survived by his mother, Joyce Pitts of Virginia
Beach; sister, Joycelyn Epps of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Keith Norman Sr.
of Virginia Beach, Lind Pitts Jr. of Norfolk and Tony Pitts of Chesapeake.

He leaves behind his best friend and companion, Rosalyn Wiseman-Wilkins, and a
lifelong friend, Lindsey Wilkins of Virginia Beach; and a host of special
nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel,
Norfolk, by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family
and friends will assemble at 1224 Glyndon Drive, Virginia Beach, Friday at 12:30
p.m. for the funeral procession to the church.
