Virginian Pilot July 11, 1998

Mae Capps Norman, wife of the late R.E. Norman, and a native of Princess Anne 
County, died Friday, July 10, 1998. She had been a resident of the Chesapeake 
Retirement Community.
Survivors include a son, Robert Eugene Norman and his wife, Sara; five 
grandchildren, Debbie Stamm, Susan Chinnici, Mary Norman, Stephen Norman, 
Caroline Albright; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk by 
the Rev. William Nuckols and the Rev. Lawrence J. Biermann.
Memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Retirement Community, 955 
Harpersville Road, Newport News, Va. 23601 or Parkview Baptist Church, 604 
Hilton Blvd., Newport News, Va. 23605.
