Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 14, 1914

Miss Anne Clifton Norman, a widely known and esteemed trained nurse, died at the 
Protestant Hospital at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday night. Miss Norman was a native of 
England but had lived in Norfolk 20 years and had a great many friends.
The funeral will be held at 12 noon today at the residence of Dr. R.H. Walker, 323 
Pembroke Avenue. Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. T.A. Smoot of Epworth 
Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
