NORFOLK - Mrs. Evelyn Cain Norman, 49, of 3320 Peronne Ave., died Saturday in a 
hospital.
A native of South Norfolk, she was the wife of John E. Norman Jr. She was 
retired from Norfolk Naval Air Station.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, John E. Norman III, and James 
E. Norman, both of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Chesapeake, 
Mrs. Virginia Barnes of Fairburn, Ga., and Mrs. Harold Norman of Columbia, N.C.; 
and two brothers, R. C. Cain of Portsmouth, and R. L. Cain of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, 
by Dr. Norman Bennett. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
