Norman Sr. and daughter of Henry Hardy and Mrs. May Loyd Patrick, died Monday in Dearborn, Mich. Mrs. Norman was a native of Washington County, N.C., and lived in Norfolk 45 years. She was an active member of First Christian Church, Disciples. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph F. Fitzpatrick of Norfolk and Mrs. L. M. Columbus of Dearborn; two sons, Harold E. Norman and John E. Norman Jr. of Norfolk; three step-daughters, Mrs. C. E. Crutchfield and Mrs. L. E. Miller of Norfolk and Mrs. B. F. Little of Winterville, N.C.; a stepson, Herman A. Norman of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. S. T. Everton and Mrs. C. D. Sawyer of Norfolk and Mrs. E. D. Liles of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, H. L Patrick, of Norfolk and G. W. Patrick of Rocky Mount, N.C.; 31 grandchildren and 46 great- grandchildren. The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to First Christian Church, Disciples, for a funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The body will be in the church at 1 p.m. Thursday.
