She was born in Portsmouth and lived there until about a year and a half ago when she came to Norfolk to make her home, living at No. 6 Manteo Apartments. She was the daughter of Mrs. Carrie Cooper Norris and the late Carl Evans Norris, and in addition to her mother is survived by a sister, Miss Ruth Cooper Norris; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Julia Norris; four aunts, Mrs. T.B. Gray, Mrs. M.J. Buchanan, Mrs. M.M. Morse and Mrs. Lois Campbell, all of Norfolk; three uncles, Clyde W. Cooper, Portsmouth; J.W. Cooper, Tampa, Fla., and William E. Norris, Hamlet, N.C. Miss Norris was a junior at Maury High School, and a member of Monumental Methodist Church, Portsmouth. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral hone of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. C.O. Tuttle, D.D., presiding elder; the Rev H.P. Clark, D.D., pastor of the Monumental Church and the Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
