                        MISS BESSIE NORRIS DEAD

Miss Bessie Mayo Norris, one of the best known young ladies of the ward, died at 
the residence of her sister, Mrs. C.H. Johnson, 40 Walnut Street, last evening 
at 10:30 o'clock, after an illness of six weeks. She was a daughter of the late 
J.M. and Annie Norris, of Baltimore, Md. and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. 
Johnson and Miss Sadie Norris. She was a member of Memorial M.E. Church.
The funeral will be conducted from the above residence Friday afternoon at 3 
o'clock, with Rev. W.W. Lear, D.D., officiating and the interment will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
