Norfolk - Mrs. Katie R. Nottingham of 951 Merrimac avenue, the wife of Frank J.
Nottingham, died Nov. 14, in a hospital after a short illness.

A native of Durham, NC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mrs. Ruth R.
Green.

She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Bernard R. Nottingham of Virginia
Beach; three daughters, Mrs. Ernestine N. Vann of Chesapeake, Mrs. Katie
Margaret N. Coleman of Norfolk, and Mrs. Delores N. Wooden of Cleveland;  and 10
grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in Queen Street
Baptist Church by the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman.  Burial will be in the family plot
in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
