The funeral will be held at the Brambleton Avenue Methodist Church at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon and the burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Nugent is survived by a widow, Mrs. Annie Nugent and four daughters, Mrs. Emmett Carson, Mrs. L.V. White, Mrs. Richard Johnkin and Mrs. Ernest Dyer and one son, C.Q. Nugent. He also leaves 15 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Mr. Nugent served four years during the Civil War and was for years a member of Pickett-Buchanan Camp, Confederate veterans and an honorary member of the Spanish-American war veterans. He was a member of Nemo Lodge, Knights of Pythias, of Petersburg and of the Owls of Norfolk.
