Virginian-Pilot  March 3, 1893
The funeral of Richard Nunan, who died from injuries received by being run over by 
a freight train of the Norfolk and Western Railroad, took place yesterday 
afternoon from the residence of his brother-in-law, Mr. W. A. Mehegan, No. 14 
Reservoir avenue, in the presence of a large number of friends. The Rev. Father 
John Doherty, of St. Mary’s Church, officiated, and the interment was in the St. 
Mary’s Cemetery.
