Norfolk Ledger Dispatch January 1, 1919

Mrs. Margaret Alicia Nurney, wife of Z.V. Nurney, U.S.N., died early this 
morning, aged 47 years. She was a native of New York state and had lived in 
Norfolk 15 years. The funeral takes place at 3:30 p.m. Friday at H.D. Oliver's 
Funeral Apartments, 610-12 E. Freemason Street, Rev. R.R. Kealey, of St. Mary's 
Catholic Church, officiating. The burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. She is 
survived by her husband, two sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Margaret Alicia Nurney, wife of Z.V. Nurney, U.S.N. died early yesterday 
morning, aged 47 years. She was a native of New York state, but had lived in 
Norfolk for the past 15 years being widely known and highly esteemed.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Alicia Nurney, who died early Wednesday 
morning, will be conducted at the Oliver funeral apartments tomorrow afternoon 
at 3:30 o’clock. The funeral was originally set for this afternoon, but has been 
postponed.
