Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 30, 1953

Mrs. Giovanna Orlando Nuzzo, 63, wife of Pasquale Nuzzo and daughter of the late 
Joseph and Mrs. Raffalela Castaldo Orlando, died yesterday at 8:38 a.m. at a 
Norfolk Hospital.
Mrs. Nuzzo, a native of Italy, had been a resident of Norfolk for 40 years, 
residing at 1704 Fontainbleau Crescent at the time of her death.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Clifford Nolan and 
Mrs. Joseph Colletti, of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. William Walker and Mrs. Donnie 
Jones, of Norfolk; three sons, Aubrey Nuzzo, of Norfolk; Adrian Nuzzo, of Dobbs 
Ferry, N.Y. and Hubert Lee Nuzzo, of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Robert Book, of Houston, Tex. and Mrs. Anthony Monte, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; 
three brothers, Carmene Orlando, Anthony Orlando and Thomas Orlando, all of 
Brooklyn, N.Y.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the 
King Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in 
St. Mary's Cemetery.
