Virginian Pilot May 3 1934


Mrs. Annie Morledge Oakley, aged 81, died at her residence, 575 West Ocean View 
Avenue, yesterday morning at 9:15 o'clock. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. 
Mattie Wright of Norfolk, a son, Charles F. Oakley, of Haddon Heights, N.J.; 
five grand-children and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Oakley was a native of 
Pittsburgh, Pa., and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 40 years and 
was one of the oldest members of the First Christian Church Disciples.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
