CHESAPEAKE - George N. (Bo) Obey of 341 Dexter St., the husband of Mrs. Velma 
Obey, died Thursday in his home.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of the late George and Mrs. Elizabeth F. Obey.

He was a retired merchant seaman after 17 years.

He was a member of Holy Temple UHA Church.

Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frances Whtie of Chesapeake; 
two brothers, Andrew F. Obey of New York and Nathaniel W. Obey of Chesapeake; 
two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Elder of Chesapeake and Mrs. Naomi Johnson of Hampton; 
and four grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Holy Temple UHA Church by 
the Rev. Paul Bradley. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery 
with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
