Virginian-Pilot September 20, 1915
Mrs. Winifred O’Barton died yesterday afternoon at 4:30, at her residence, 718 
Hughes street, after a month’s illness. She had been for three years a resident of 
Norfolk and was a native of Ireland. The funeral will take place from the 
residence this afternoon at 3 o’clock and interment will be in St. Mary’s 
cemetery.

Additional Comments:
There is a discrepancy between her last name on her tombstone (O'Borton) and that 
in the newspaper and on her death certificate (O'Barton) and she's listed as 
Winnie Barton in the 1915 Norfolk City Directory.
