VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Julia A. Bradley O’Brien, 73, of 2414 Arctic Ave., died 
Sunday afternoon in a hospital.
A native of Philadelphia, she lived here three years. She was a member of Star 
of the Sea Catholic Church.
She was the widow of James J. O’Brien and a daughter of Harry and Mrs. Sarah 
O’Brien Bradley.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Simpson, and three granddaughters, 
Mrs. Alan Murphy, Mrs. Joseph Simpson, Jr., and Miss Julia Simpson, all of 
Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be said in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, Tuesday 
at 7 p.m.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Catholic Church Wednesday 
at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Norfolk.
The family will be at her home.
