Solemn requiem mass was celebrated, the following priests officiating: Rev. J. J. Doherty, of St. Mary’s Church, Norfolk, celebrant; Rev. Charles E. Donohue, of St. Paul’s Church, Portsmouth, deacon; Rev. F. J. Lucke, chaplain of St. Vincent’s Hospital, subdeacon, and Rev. M. J. Shorn, of Old Point Comfort College, master of ceremonies. Rev. R. A. Drake, Rev. T. F. Kelly, Rev. Jason Sinnott, L.L.D., and Rev. W. D. Delaney attended the obsequies. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes attesting the love and esteem in which Sister Loretto O’Brien was held. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: James V. Trehy, M. T. Friary, John A. Baecher, Vincent Phillips, A. G. Burrow, M. T. Cashin, Dr. Antonio Burke and Dr. G. E. Faulkner.
