NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary Josephine Lawless O’Brien, 77, 190 Somme Avenue, died in De 
Paul Hospital Wednesday at 8:45 p.m.
A native of Aydlett, N.C., she lived in Norfolk for the last 60 years.
She is survived by two sons, Roland Hampton O’Brien of Suffolk and John Lawless 
of Norfolk, and one sister, Mrs. Fannie Butler of Aydlett.
The body was taken to H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments.

NORFOLK – A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Josephine Lawless O’Brien, who died 
Thursday, will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
