J. O’Brien died yesterday morning at 3:45 o’clock in his residence, 217 Henry street, Portsmouth. He was for many years engaged in the cigar business in this city. Mr. O’Brien is survived by a widow, Mrs. Mary Byrnes O’Brien; four daughters, the Misses Mary S., Catherine, Camilla and Regina; a son, William J. O’Brien, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Miano, Mrs. F. P. Scott and Mrs. F. R. Lytle; two brothers, M. P. and J. S. O’Brien, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted in St. Paul’s Church tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock. Burial will take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
