Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 5, 1933

James Martin O'Connor, aged 62, son of the late Maurice and Honora Martin 
O'Connor, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Mr. 
O'Connor was a native of Minnesota and a resident of Norfolk for the past 35 
years. Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary L. O'Connor, one son, Kenneth Martin 
O'Connor; three sisters, Mrs. R.L. Graves, Mrs. James G. Haskell and Mrs. James 
F Hartnett, all of Washington, D.C., three brothers, J.W. O'Connor, of Norfolk, 
Andrew P. O'Connor, of Dorsey, Md. and Charles F. O'Connor, of Washington, D.C. 
and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the residence of his brother, J.W. O'Connor, 3 
Breslin Apartments, 2905 Colonial Avenue, to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean 
View, for funeral services Wednesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Interment will be 
in St. Mary's Cemetery.
