Virginian Pilot July 13, 1957

John Martin O'Connor, 43, husband of Mrs. Frances Ward O'Connor and son of Mrs. 
Florence Foley O'Connor and the late Frank J. O'Connor, a native and former 
resident of Norfolk, died Thursday night at Chicago, Ill, where he had made his 
home for the past 17 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, John Martin O'Connor Jr., of 
Chicago; his mother Mrs. Florence Foley O'Connor and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence 
Kirby, both of Falls Church, and a brother, Dr. Frank J. O'Connor, of Norfolk.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and will be taken from the H.D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Monday 
at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be 
conducted at the funeral apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
