O’Connor, the 8-year old son of Mrs. Mary V. and the late John O’Connor, who died Saturday morning from injuries sustained in falling from a tree Friday afternoon, were solemnized from the residence of the grandparents of the child, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor, No. 12 Duncan avenue, Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock in the presence of a large assemblage. The services were conducted by Rev. W. J. Young, D.D., of Epworth Church. The remains were laid to rest by the side of those of his father in Elmwood Cemetery. The deceased, at the time of his sad and untimely demise, was here on a vacation from the Masonic Orphanage in Richmond.
