TAMPA, Fla. - Gladys H. “Jackie” O’Connor, 73, a former resident of Virginia 
Beach and a retired bookkeeper, died Nov. 6,1989, in a nursing home.
Mrs. O’Connor, a native of Montana, was the widow of Jack E. O’Connor. She had 
retired from St. Pius X Federal Credit Union and was a member of St. Pius X 
Catholic Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, David J. O’Connor of Tampa; a sister, Nina Paradis of 
Boulder, Mont; and one grandchild.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at noon Thursday in St. Pius X 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Anthony Rodrigues. Burial will be in St. Mary’s 
Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends may join the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel.
