Virginian-Pilot January 18, 1972
NORFOLK - Miss Mary Margaret O’Connor, 78, of 1238 E. Ocean View Ave., died in a 
hospital Sunday.
She was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
She was a daughter of Thomas Joseph and Mrs. Mary Rudolph O’Connor.
She was a volunteer worker for De Paul Hospital. She was a graduate of St. 
Mary’s Female Academy and member of its Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by two cousins, Mrs. Jean Wharton of Richmond and Miss Margaret 
Helen Ryan of Springfield, Mass.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be held in Holy Trinity Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
