Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 20, 1937

F. C. Odell, aged 56, husband of Mrs. Winifred Odell and son of the late S.K. 
and Elmira Odell, died at his residence at London Bridge yesterday at 3:30 p.m. 
after an illness of five years.  He was a lifelong resident of this section and 
was a farmer.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Howard Odell, of Norfolk and 
Earl and Chauncey, of London Bridge; two daughters, Mrs. G.W. Downing, of 
Norfolk and Miss Mary Odell, of London Bridge; one sister, Mrs. S.D. Scott of 
Oceana; one brother, G.R. Odell; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to the Gregory Funeral Home, 3401 Granby Street, pending 
funeral arrangements.
