Virginian Pilot September 30, 1904

Draton Wright Odell died at the Protestant hospital, this city, at 5 p.m. 
yesterday, after an illness of four weeks.  The deceased was employed by the 
Stieff Piano Company as their manager at Elizabeth City, N.C., up until four weeks 
ago, when he was taken to the hospital.  He was forty-two years of age, having 
been born in Illinois in 1862, and is survived by a wife, three children - one boy 
and two girls - five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held today at 4 p.m. from the Ghent M.E. Church, of which 
he was a steward.  The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
