Massey, took place yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Beacher L. Rhodes, assisted by the Rev. Clyde S. Sawyer, pastor of the South Norfolk Baptist Church. Members of South Norfolk Lodge 339, A.F. & A.M. and Chesapeake Tribe 50, I.O.R.M., of which Mr. Odom was connected, attended the funeral in a body. There were many beautiful floral tributes. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery and the following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. W.T. Madrin, Leroy Haskett, C.W. Lane, J.S. Dews, from South Norfolk Lodge, Masons; J.W. Weaver, W.H. Thomas, J.M. Brown, F.S. Cowan, from Chesapeake Tribe of Red Men; S.H. Dennis, C.H. Clarke, George R. Jones and F.F. Champion, from Khedive Temple, Shriners.
